The trail system in Rocky Peak is popular with hikers, mountain bike riders, and horseback riders. The access points are off the 188 Freeway at Rocky Peak, Yosemite Road, and Kuehner Road.
Simi Valley is considered to be a commuter bedroom community with residents working in larger areas like the San Fernando Valley, Ventura County, and Los Angles. Notable landmarks include the Big Sky Ranch where Little House on the Prairie and Poltergeist was filmed. And Corriganville Regional Park was once a movie ranch where Mackenzie’s Raiders was filmed.
